Returns, Defective Products & Warranty
Our commitment to our Customers
Venture Sourcing Group is committed to providing high-quality products, responsive customer service, and a clear process for managing deliveries, returns, defective merchandise and warranty-related matters.
We encourage customers to inspect and test all products promptly upon receipt. Return and warranty eligibility is subject to the timelines and conditions outlined below, as well as any applicable manufacturer requirements.
For ease of reference, this policy is organized into the following sections:
1. Delivery & Inspection
An authorized representative must be available to receive and sign for your shipment.
Customers are responsible for inspecting all products within 30 days of delivery. Upon receipt, please:
- Verify all quantities and products received.
- Compare the items received against your Venture Sourcing Group invoice.
- Inspect all products for shipping damage.
- Test equipment to confirm proper operation.
Any missing, incorrect, damaged or defective products must be reported to Venture within 30 days of delivery.
Failure to report discrepancies within this period may limit or void eligibility for a return, replacement or warranty claim.
If delivery cannot be completed because an authorized signatory is unavailable, any additional courier or reshipment charges will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
2. Return Policy
Return Authorization Is Required
All returns require prior approval from Venture Sourcing Group.
Before returning any product, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from Venture. Returns shipping without prior authorization may be refused and returned to the purchaser at the purchaser’s expense.
The issuance of an RMA number does not guarantee a credit or refund. All returned products are subject to inspection and approval upon receipt.
Eligible Returns
Unused and unopened products may be eligible for return within 15 days of the purchase date, subject to Venture approval and the following conditions:
- The product must remain factory sealed.
- The product must be in its original packaging.
- All accessories, manuals and product literature must be included.
- Packaging must not be marked, damaged or altered.
Approved factory-sealed returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Open-Box Returns
Open-box products may be considered for return within 15 days of purchase, only if:
- The product is in like-new condition.
- All original packaging is included.
- All accessories and documentation are present.
- Packaging is unmarked and suitable for resale.
Approved open-box returns are subject to:
- A 25% restocking fee, and
- A 30% open-box depreciation fee.
Non-Returnable Products
The following products are not eligible for return:
- Products returned after 15 days.
- Products that are not in resalable condition.
- Products missing original packaging, accessories or documentation.
- Pre-owned products.
- Special-order or custom-configured products, unless otherwise approved by Venture in writing.
No refunds or exchanges will be issued after 30 days from the purchase date
&3. Return Shipping Responsibility
The purchaser is responsible for:
- Packaging returned products appropriately
- Prepaying all return shipping charges.
- Insuring returned shipments.
- Any loss or damage that occurs during return transit.
Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
Refunds will exclude all original shipping charges.
Perform an Immediate Inventory Check within 30-Days
- Inspect all boxes upon arrival.
- Confirm all items are present.
- Compare received items against your Venture Sourcing Group invoice.

4. Defective Products
Products believed to be defective within 30 days of purchase should be reported to:
The following information is required:
- Product description.
- Description of the defect.
- Invoice or proof of purchase.
- Manufacturer technical support case number, if applicable.
Upon receipt and inspection of the product, Venture will determine whether a replacement, repair, manufacturer RMA or refund is appropriate.
Approved refunds will be processed using the original method of payment.
5. Product Warranty
Venture Sourcing Group acts as an authorized reseller and distributor.
Venture does not provide product warranties on new, pre-owned, or open-box products unless expressly stated in writing
All warranties are provided and administered exclusively by the product manufacturer.
Manufacturer warranties:
- Are governed by the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
- May vary by product and manufacturer.
- Are generally non-transferable.
- May require the customer to work directly with the manufacturer.
After 30 days from the purchase date, warranty claims must be handled directly through the manufacturer.
Certain manufacturers may impose shorter reporting periods. For example, Samsung warranty claims may require direct manufacturer support after ten 10 days from purchase..
Customers are responsible for reviewing the applicable manufacturer’s warranty terms before purchasing a product.
6. Pre-Owned & Open-Box Products
All pre-owned products are sold strictly “AS IS.”
Unless expressly stated in writing:
- No Venture warranty applies.
- No returns are permitted.
- Manufacturer warranty coverage may be unavailable or expired.
- Venture assumes no responsibility for future product performance.
By purchasing a pre-owned product, the purchaser accepts the risks associated with ownership and use of that product.
